About the Project

This project explored the casual presence of addictions in everyday life—how they are often normalized and treated as routine, much like having a cup of coffee. The film follows a character during a typical coffee break, observing others as they confront their own addictions. This ultimately leads him to the realization that he, too, must let go of his.

Production

Created in 2024 in collaboration with Guilherme Ramanhosa and Joe Christie, this project allowed me to develop my filmmaking abilities, covering every stage from pre-production to post-production. Shot in a single location with a small crew, the film’s editing, visual effects, and foley were completed using Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
